Description:A postcard with a color photomechanical print of Golden, Colorado, taken from Lookout Mountain. The postcard is stamped on the back by the Argentine Central Railroad Company, Local Agent's Office in Waldorf, Colorado. The note on the back reads "Dear Emilie I am in Denver now I am having a grand time with Marie. To-day Vira Bishop, Marie and Papa and I went around Georgetown Loop and on up to Mt. McClellan. It certainly is grand. Will write later. You can excuse this writing for I am writing it on the train and it is so bumpy. With Love - Helen F." Description:A postcard with a photomechanical print of Grays and Torreys peaks in Colorado, taken near Mount McClellan at the end of the Argentine Central Railroad. The postcard is stamped at Waldorf by the Argentine Central Railroad Company and was then sent through the Silver Plume post office. Note on the back reads "Dear Cook:- I'm writing this on the way up Mt. McClellan, 14,007 ft high. Waldorf, from which this is mailed, is the highest post office in the world. Mts cold!"
