Description
A photograph taken outside of Sam Strousse's store in Georgetown, Colorado. It includes eight adults and two children lined up in front of the store, who are all labeled on the back of the photograph. Displays in the windows show hand fans, hats, rugs, and other items. A sign on the window reads "The Gold and Silver Shirts For Sale Here." The people in the photograph, from left to right, are Ermy Rodda, Thomas Rodda, Mrs. Garrett of Silver Plume, Mrs. Walter Garrett of Silver Plume, an unnamed small child, Emil Strousse, Mrs. Babcock of Silver Plume, Sam Strousse, Howard Strousse, and Louis Keck.

Provenance
The name of Louis Keck, a merchant in Georgetown from about 1887-1904, is written on the back of many of these photographs. It is unclear if he was the owner of these photographs, was the one who labeled them (or had copies that someone reproduced these labels from), or was the photographer (though some are on mounts of George Dalgleish, who was likely the photographer of many of them).
