Description
A real photo postcard of a car heading east along the road between Lawson and Empire, Colorado. Visible in the photograph is the road and railroad tracks (of the Colorado and Southern) north of Clear Creek, Clear Creek itself, and another road to the south of the creek. The Empire Junction area is visible in the background. The photograph was taken between 1924 (when this stretch of the road was upgraded) and 1929 (based on the Sanborn numbering system and other dated cards).
