Description
A postcard with a photomechanical print of Grays and Torreys peaks in Colorado, taken near Mount McClellan at the end of the Argentine Central Railroad. The postcard is stamped at Waldorf by the Argentine Central Railroad Company and was then sent through the Silver Plume post office. Note on the back reads "Dear Cook:- I'm writing this on the way up Mt. McClellan, 14,007 ft high. Waldorf, from which this is mailed, is the highest post office in the world. Mts cold!" The postcard is published by Williamson Haffner Company, number B2293.
