A postcard with a color photomechanical print of Argentine Pass, Colorado taken at treeline from the Argentine Central Railroad tracks east of Waldorf. The note "Four weeks ago yesterday" is written under the title on the front. The note on the back reads "McCook 8/30/08 Quarantine was lifted Thursday and I am allowed to sit up a little now in a big chair. Am still pretty weak but will try to write soon. P. V. R." The postcard is published by the Barkalow Brothers, Railway News Agents, Denver, Colo., number 1675.
